After more than a year of efforts, Panda Information has successfully won the bid for mobile payment upgrade project of AFC system of Nanjing Metro, with a total contract value of 146 million yuan. This is a breakthrough in the use of new technology in AFC mobile payment service. By the end of September, Panda Information had won the bid of total 856 million yuan in the AFC market of rail transit.

In recent years, Panda Information has been following the development of mobile payment of AFC system, and actively follow up the mobile payment upgrade project of Nanjing Metro. Since the project was set up, Panda Information has maintained technical exchanges with the relevant departments of Nanjing Metro, formed technical teams to carry out pre-research on new mobile payment products, held more than 20 technical exchanges, and constantly improved the design and implementation schemes to meet the requirements of customer. On the basis of market research of AFC mobile payment business in the whole country, a new mobile payment standard has been worked out, which can be compatible with the access of the third party payment institutions such as Alipay, UnionPay and Suning. Panda’s mobile payment standard has also been approved by the China Association of Metros and the metro operators.

Mobile payment service is a new mode of rail transit business. It is a close combination of "Internet +" and metro industry, including cloud computing, security protection, big data, AI and so on. Panda Information paid great importance to R&D and the transformation of new achievements. Through the efforts of engineers, Panda Information finally completed the technical finalization and standard formulation, which laid a solid foundation for the bidding of mobile payment upgrade project of AFC system of Nanjing Metro.
